Lockly Keyless Entry Review

Unlike most other smart locks that only work via Bluetooth and are operated by an app, lockly keyless entry takes some innovative steps to add extra security to their product.lockly keyless entry smart lock They include a hack-proof digital pin pad that reshuffles the numbers after each use to prevent a code from being guessed by onlookers by simply watching you input it. They also included a fingerprint scanner on the side of the lock that uses the same technology found in Apple and Samsung devices. This will allow you to lock your door even if your phone is in a purse or pocket and gives your guests the ability to access your home with ease as well.

The Lockly Secure Pro can be opened using your smartphone, a user code, or eKeys (digital eBadges) that you create and send from the app to whoever you wish.lockly keyless entry smart lock It comes with a free eKey starter kit that you can give to friends and family so they can experience the convenience of your smart lock without needing to download any additional apps or have Wi-Fi or internet access.

Once you are set up, the lock is fairly easy to operate.lockly keyless entry smart lock It is able to be locked with either the fingerprint sensor or your mobile device, but the fingerprint feature can take some time since you have to press your finger into the scan several times in a row to get it to recognize. This is not as fast or as intuitive as using your fingerprint on an iPhone, but I was still able to unlock my door quickly and easily with the touch of a button.

In addition to a variety of lock methods, the Lockly Secure Pro can be remotely controlled with a Wifi bridge that is sold separately and allows for remote locking from anywhere in the world. You can also connect it to your home’s existing WiFi network, but it requires you to have a password set up on your wireless router. This is the only smart lock that I have tested that offers this level of connectivity to a home’s existing network.

Another neat feature of the Lockly is that it keeps a detailed history log in the app of when your door has been opened and closed, so you can see exactly who has been in and out of your home. This is a nice way to keep an eye on your kids or neighbors while you are away at work.

The Lockly Secure Pro is a great smart lock with some unique features that make it stand out from its competitors. The app is pretty easy to use, although there are some confusing and inconsistent language translation issues that need to be fixed. It is still not as intuitive as some of the other lock apps I have tried, but it is getting better with each update. It is definitely a great option for anyone looking to upgrade their existing deadbolt or replace an old one.
